Chalene Push review 3I was one of the first to buy “PUSH” by Chalene Johnson as part of a group who received an electronic version before the hardbound was released in 2012.  I typically take the week between Christmas and New Year’s to reflect on the past year and set new goals for the coming year.  Reading PUSH during this time really helped me focus on bigger goals and how to achieve them.  I had a great year, but knew I could do more.

This past January I signed up for Chalene’s 30 Day Challenge and re-read PUSH to help me really hone in on what my big goals were – long-term and short-term and learned how to break them down or “reverse engineer” as she teaches this technique for reaching goals.

PUSH really focuses on goal setting and what steps you need to take in reaching goals – making you think out of the box – stretching your limits – then making it seem so easy that you really have no excuse but to achieve everything you imagined! Putting the book with the online 30 Day Challenge was even more effective – with videos and worksheets to help you truly understand the concepts and take action!

PUSH focuses mostly on health and fitness goals, but the techniques can be applied to any goal in your life whether it is physical, financial, spiritual, or something else that is important to you.  It gives great advice on how to get where you want to be, plus a terrific set of healthy recipes and a “bangin body workout” routine that is killer!

I would highly recommend PUSH and the 30 Day Challenge for anyone who is struggling with reaching goals or needing some help to clearly define where they want to be in their life.
