Ultimate Reset Cleanse Results

My Ultimate Reset Cleanse Results were so good that my Dr said “You proved me Wrong!”

I’m so happy with my results from the Beachbody Ultimate Reset – Cleanse!!  I went into the 21 day program with no expectations and an open mind – never intending to lose a lot of weight or make a permanent change to my diet, but it definitely has made a lasting impression on me and results speak for themselves.

I lost 9.6 lbs and 4.5 inches overall.  Total cholesterol dropped from 176 to 158; BP went from 138/85 to 103/69.  Although I am pleased with the significant drop in weight, blood pressure and cholesterol, the biggest change was my C-RP. It went from 3.28 to 1.08   – this is what my Dr said would not happen!

I have hereditary high cholesterol. I have been on a healthy diet and exercise program for more than 15 years and still had high cholesterol which I treat with Mevacor to maintain a healthy level.  I read an article in a health magazine about 2-3 years ago that said if you are getting your blood work done, you should consider having your Dr add a test for High Sensitivity C-reactive Protein (HS-CRP)

High Sensitivity (also called Ultra-sensitive) C-reactive protein is known as HS-CRP, US-CRP or CRP for short. It is a protein found in the blood and what we call a “marker” for inflammation, meaning its presence indicates a heightened state of inflammation in the body. Inflammation is a normal response to many physical states including fever, injury and infection. Inflammation plays a role in the initiation and progression of cardiovascular disease. — Cleveland Clinic

For more details on the test for High Sensitivity C-reactive Protein (HS-CRP), see article by the Cleveland Clinic cleanseresults)

I stayed on track for the full 21 days – I ate to the plan, took the supplements, walked daily, and tried several of the other lifestyle ideas such as yoga, meditation, and body brushing.   Many of the suggestions have become habits and I am taking some of the maintenance supplements and drinking water.  I have also put many of my personal likes back into my diet, but at much lower quantities – such as

  • 1 cup of coffee instead of the 2 or 3 I was drinking;
  • wine on weekends, but only 1 or 2 glasses;
  • animal proteins and dairy.

My body has adjusted and have had no allergies or side affects – really paying more attention to packaged food – the cleaner the better is my new guideline.  I have also developed a mini 3-day cleanse that utilizes many of the best practices from the Ultimate Reset and helps me get back on track after business travel, vacations, special events, or just minor over indulgences.  If you’d like a copy, click below and I’ll send it to you!

    Wow, you did fantastic on the Reset and even had a great test result that nobody else is doing. I missed the boat and didn’t have my blood work done before I did the reset. I really wish I had of but I will next time. I plan to do it twice a year.

      Thanks Mary – it was so worth it! I plan to do it again in the fall too – my husband is having some minor surgery and won’t be able to work out for three weeks, so perfect opportunity to do it again and do it together!

    Truth be told, the Ultimate Reset still intimidates me but my goodness, the results and feedback of the program are definitely making me consider doing it. I’m so impressed with how everyone has improved their overall health so significantly.

    Beachbody is truly carving out a niche in the Market with the way they are moving towards an approach to Holistic Health, Mind, Body and Spirit.

    Congrats on your Results!!!

    Great job on the cleanse, glad to hear you got such great results.
    My mom did the cleanse a short time back and though she wasn’t able to stay on the supplements, she got good results and still eats for the most part some of the recipes from there.

    Congrats on such stellar results and especially the substantial drop in C-RP.
    I hope to do the Ultimate Reset early next year. The one thing that scares me is all the food prep. Thanks for sharing your inspirational results. I’m one step closer to doing it 🙂

    Great job, I’m almost done, on day 14. I will quit coffee altogether and only wine two days a week. It has been a good journey for me

    Suzann, awesome results with your Ultimate Reset. I really enjoyed reading your additional explanation regarding CRP blood test. I have been doing quite a bit of reading up on blood test results since my wife & I had our before/after blood work completed surrounding our Ultimate Reset journey.

    Ultimate Reset is the REAL deal … I lowered my cholesterol by 74 points
